EVENT PORTFOLIO HIGHLIGHTS
This annual conference focuses on the intersection between public safety and behavioral health. Each year it attracts hundreds of attendees for educational and networking opportunities.
For 2025, the conference will be held April 31 and May 1 at the Tucson Convention Center.
ASU Summer Institute for Behavioral Health
As the Conference and Events manager at the School of Social Work, I had the privelege to run their behavioral health conference in Flagstaff, Arizona. The conference hosted between 250 and 500 attendees each year, with over 30 sponsors exhibiting.
A planning committee would put out a Call for Presentations each year, and the 3 day event featured over 35 different continuing education sessions.
The Big Gay Sing-along at Film Bar
The most successful program in the history of Film Bar, a 75 seat art theatre in Downtown Phoenix. We promoted the bi-weekly event through social media channels, and every event raised money for different charities. We're proud to have raised over 10k for over 50 different organizations. Unfortunately, FilmBar didn't survive the Pandemic or we would still be doing this event!
